Michele Tjader graduated from Marquette University Law School in 1996. She has specialized in the areas and criminal and traffic defense since 1997. After winning her first several jury trials at one of the premier drunk driving defense firms in the state of Wisconsin, Michele was made the exclusive trial lawyer for the firm. In addition to advocacy as a lawyer, Michele has been recognized as an expert witness in criminal and traffic matters in Wisconsin courts.
Ms. Tjader has been teaching other lawyers the dynamics of criminal defense, including pretrial motions, cross examination, and constitutional issues since 2000. She has chaired seminars for the State Bar of Wisconsin and been a frequent presenter for the Wisconsin Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, in addition to lecturing in other states. Michele is consistently one of the top- rated speakers at Wisconsin’s Annual Drunk Driving Defense Seminar. She is known by judges, prosecutors, and police officers for her take no prisoners attitude. One of her favorite claims to fame is that she was once the main topic of a presentation for the Wisconsin State District Attorneys’ annual seminar regarding how to deal with cutting-edge defenses that she was raising both pretrial and at trial.
